Elijah Reed, Andre Frazier, Kory Hamane
Sunday 9/9/07
Pressure Basketball Club 8th graders Andre Frazier, Kory Hamane and Elijah Reed were allowed to run with the some of the Top High School Freshman in the Fullcourt Press Fall Showcase.
Both Andre and Kory took advantage of their time on the floor and raised a quite few eyebrows in the process. Elijah tried to go but saw limited action because of a recent foot injury.
The game was close and their team was in good position to win it at the end. After the game, when word got out that they were only 8th graders, no one could believe it!
(Andre was singled out in CaliforniaPreps.com game recap... see article reprint below)
Congratulations Andre, Kory and Elijah! keep up the good work, from the Coaching Staff and all of us at Pressure Basketball Club!

One of the highlights of the fall basketball season took place this past Sunday when the Fullcourt Press Fall Showcase was held at Jordan High School in Long Beach. There were two games for each of the four class years, with players from all over Southern California and beyond in attendance. This is the first in a series of articles covering the event: game-by-game summaries of the two freshmen and two sophomore games.
